Weโve seen it all: full-blown cop uniforms, clothes getting stripped off in the room (please donโt do this), and even way-too-real-looking guns as props (๐๐๐๐ผ๐๐, ๐๐๐๐ผ๐๐ ๐ฃ๐๐ซ๐๐ง ๐๐ค ๐ฉ๐๐๐จ). โ

Hereโs what actually matters:โ

That your clothing choice is appropriate for the role/tone of the show. โ

โ๏ธ DONโT wear a trendy blazer to a post-apocalyptic audition.โ
โ๏ธ DO wear something more conservative/buttoned-up for period pieces.โ
โ๏ธ DONโT go out and buy any type of clothing for an audition. There is absolutely no need. โ
โ๏ธ DO read the wardrobe notes and make smart choices with what you have on hand. โ

Also: know that if showing up in a lab coat or a fancy dress or a uniform is what helps you better connect with the character. You do you. โ
