How to Play:

Welcome actors! Here's your guide to participating in our weekly Actor Olympics:

Game Basics:

The Spin (Monday - Live on Instagram & Youtube):
- Each week, we spin our wheel twice:
  - First Spin - One scene from a movie or TV show
  - Second Spin - One for a genre (e.g., multi-cam, soap opera, procedural)
Your Challenge: Perform the selected scene in the tone of the chosen genre.
Submission (Wednesday @ 7pm PST): Record your performance and submit it via our upload form below. Optional: Submit and tag us via Instagram for us to share.
Voting (Thursday): Top 3 submissions are shared on Instagram & YouTube for audience voting. The submission with the most overall likes wins.
Winner (Announced Friday): The winner will receive a 20 minute career consultation (participants must be following us to win).

How to Participate:

Follow our social media accounts for announcements.
Watch Mondays for the weekly scene and genre reveal.
Work on your scene.
Record your scene in self tape format.
Submit your self tape by the deadline (Wednesday @ 7pm PST).
Share your tape and encourage your followers to vote!

Tips for Success:

Be creative with your interpretation of the genre/tone in relation to the scene.
Ensure that we can hear and see you clearly
Engage with other participants and voters

FAQs

What ages can submit?

17+ due to some scenes potentially being pulled from rated R films or NC17 TV shows.

What if the genre is comedy but it's a dramatic scene?

That's the fun part of the challenge! Don't worry so much about the original genre of the scene. Ask yourself how you can make the scene comedic.

Can I submit mutiple takes?

Please only submit 1 take. We are going through these on our own time and ask that you choose your favorite take to submit.

What if I don’t have a self tape setup?

Totally fine! As long as we can see and hear you clearly, that's all you need.

How are you going to decide whose a finalist?

One of us will be culling down the initial batch. We're casting directors so we have some experience with this 😉

Can I use this clip in my reel?

Sure! If you think it’s demo reel-worthy material, go for it.

Do we need to be union to partipate?

Since this is just an acting challenge via social media, there is no union association. You can be either non-union, SAG-eligible or SAG-AFTRA to participate in the game.
